Staff Sergeant John L. Stuckey distinguished himself by meritorious service as an Aerial Photographer, 40th Flight Test Squadron, 46th Operations Group, 46th Test Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. During this period, Sergeant Stuckey's tireless work ethic and leadership contributed immeasurably to the successful testing of several "Firsts" including the inaugural drop of a Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile from a B-1B Lancer utilizing a Sniper Pod and an AIM-120D air-to-air missile shot from an F-15. His photo and high-speed film documentation and data gathering were instrumental in advancing vital weapon systems in the Combat Air Force's arsenal. Additionally, Sergeant Stuckey single-handedly supported six concurrent test programs during a 75 percent manning shortfall, resulting in zero sorties lost and saving 330,000 dollars in program costs. Moreover, he augmented the 1st Special Operations Wing Public Affairs team during a high level visit to the Miami Heat training camp, which he documented and produced a broadcast package for that was viewed across three million homes worldwide. Finally, his contribution was instrumental to the Public Affairs team's recognition with the 2010 Air Force Special Operations Command's Best Integrated Communications Award. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Stuckey reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
