Airman First Class Brian D. Additionally, his meticulous upload and subsequent delivery of 1,500 tons of Russian wildfire relief supplies in less than six hours helped extinguish 2,000 out of control forest fires. Further, Airman Ekberg demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge while processing 103 tons of movement critical Hesco barriers in less than 14 hours, resulting in the fortification of new outposts in support of Operation New Dawn. Williams distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Inbound Cargo Supervisor, 506th Expeditionary Logistic Readiness Squadron, Logistic Readiness Deployment Distribution Center, 322nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq from XXXXX XXXXX to XXXXXXXXX. During this period, as the sole inbound receiving clerk, Airman Williams conducted in-check and receipt of more than 1,100 items and 70,000 tons of cargo, ensuring timely delivery and one hundred percent accuracy. In addition, he identified mishandled weapon and cargo shipments, obtained and corrected receiving organizations' information, and coordinated its delivery which eliminated mission delays, heightened security, and averted the loss of $240,000 dollars in assets. Senior Airman Amee Espinoza distinguished herself in the performance of outstanding service to the United States while assigned to the 302d Logistics Readiness Squadron, 302d Mission Support Group, 302d Airlift Wing, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. During this period, Airman Espinoza displayed excellent leadership and job performance as an Exceptional Airman. She palletized 100 pieces of cargo equaling 10,000 pounds in aircraft equipment, ensuring property arrived on time to its destination, making the mission a success. In addition to receiving 5,000 pounds of high priority cargo equaling 1.5 million dollars, Airman Espinoza had the cargo prepared, processed and sent out within the hour, giving instant access to critical mission capable (MICAP) parts. Finally, Airman Espinoza worked extensively in the Cargo Movement Operation System, processing 6,000 shipment records with zero errors, increasing shipment visibility and reducing backlog by 30 percent. Her dedication to duty directly contributed to the 302d Logistics Readiness Squadron's selection as the 2010 Air Reserve Component Base Logistics Activity of the Year.
